Elisa Pellacini - 'use A book'
'use A book' by Elisa Pellacani is a 428 page delight. Demonstrates and exhibits many creative ways of making , constructing, illustrating and publishing, then using, 'books'.
Most of the text is in Spanish with some English translation. The photographs and illustrations are in the universal language of the global village. Elisa is also the driving force behind the annual 'artist book' fairs that travel around Barcellona. She is looking for new material for the 2012 travelling show.

Setting lead type in preparation for locking up and printing onto a large variety of surfaces using the Hunters proof press. The Pearl Platen Press is a 100 year old platen press and Liz also printed 50 or so cards as a special product.
