I am going to send a copy of this photo to Gregory Ruffa (New Jersy, USA) as he has offered to try to identify this font for me. Gregory has a wonderful collection of wood type and has published an outstanding book on the history of wood type " The Art of Wood Type" and included many photos from his personal collection.
