IngSong, Parndej Churaipon, Woofer from Thailand

The smell was tempting the taste divine. IngSong loved to cook for us during his stay with us as a WWOOFer. He was very kind and didn't sprinkle the Thai spices too liberally on our meal. The prawn cutlets were very wonderful and we have already bought some prawn meat from Davis Trading to cook some more. Allison poses with the chef.

According to the supplier this apple was discovered up the Whanganui River and is estimated to be 100 years old and has been tested to be 4 times more beneficial than the next best apple in regard to its anti cancer properties.(Quercetin glycosides)

Three big kahawai.

These 3 kahawai were caught at Tangimoana and are a similar size to the 4 big ones I caught surfcasting in the weekend at Akitio. They weigh around 2.5 kilos or 5 pound each. (the biggest was 63 centimetres long) They are a strong fighting fish and called sea trout in Australia. Allison and I have 4 favourite ways of cooking them, slow baking, smoking, egg and bread crumb and raw cubes with seasoning.
