Omanu lino printing - my best prints

This is the start of the lesson, I am demonstrating to the year 5 and 6 class how to carve with these new carving tools imported from Japan. They are made from 2 high grade steels annealed together (sword steel) are VERY sharp and will hold their sharpness for a long time. My rule is to hold the tools with two hands on the handle. I carry plasters but I do not have an ambulance!
The cutting angle is between 15 and 30 degrees. We must use a bench hook.
